Based on recently leaked images of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, the LetsGoDigital site has created renders that show in detail what the appearance of this smartphone will look like when it is released.
According to the render images of LetsGoDigital, we can see that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will have a striking design with the main camera system on the back is relatively bunker, occupying almost half of the back. This camera cluster will include a wide-angle lens with a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5 sensor, equipped with Dual Pixel Pro AF focusing technology. The GN5 sensor is a successor to the GN2 sensor used on Xiaomi 11 Ultra.
With the remaining three cameras, Xiaomi 12 Ultra will have a 48MP super wide-angle camera, an optical 5X periscope telephoto camera, capable of 10X mixed zoom and up to 120X electronic zoom, while the third camera will be placed on the right side. on the cmaera module but the function is unknown, this could be a second telephoto camera or a monochrome camera that supports noise processing.
In addition to the main 4-camera system, Xiaomi also equipped with other sensors. LetsGoDigital predicts one of these sensors will likely be a color temperature sensor and a laser-focused dTOF sensor.
Another notable point in this camera cluster is the “Leica” logo placed in the corner, indicating that there will be a combination of Xiaomi and Leica to improve image quality. Before that, Leica used to be the exclusive camera brand that cooperated with Huawei for a long time, before terminating the contract and moving to cooperate with Sharp. Currently, there is no official information about the relationship between Xiaomi and Leica so this is just a guess.
In terms of other parameters, Xiaomi 12 Ultra is expected to be equipped with a 4-sided curved AMOLED screen, 6.8 inches in size, with QHD + resolution and 120H refresh rate. This device is also expected to integrate a hidden camera under the screen, similar to the technology equipped on the Xiaomi MIX 4 but may be upgraded.
In addition, Xiaomi 12 Ultra also has a quality speaker system tuned by harman / kardon, IP68 water and dust resistance as well as Qualcomm’s most powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
