At the end of March, Xiaomi introduced the Redmi K50 series duo with a new design, powerful hardware, besides this duo, there is another version also launched by Xiaomi, Redmi K40S. This is basically a slightly upgraded version of the Redmi K40 launched last year, but has the design of the K50 series.
The price in the Chinese market of this device is from 6.5 million VND, which is quite attractive for a smartphone equipped with Snapdragon 870 chip. However, in Vietnam market, Redmi K40S is being sold as a portable product at a low price. about 7.9 million VND. At this price, this is indeed not an attractive choice in the price range of 8 million VND.

As mentioned, Redmi K40S has a price in the domestic market of 6.5 million. However, due to the policy of tightening the border, during this time, the number of laptops on the Vietnamese market is quite limited, as well as the price being pushed up. The standard 6GB/128GB version of Redmi K40S is currently being sold in Vietnam for about 7.9 million VND (refer to the Hay Phone store).
In fact, the price of 7.9 million VND is not a very attractive price. In this price range, users can completely choose the POCO F3, the renamed version of the Redmi K40 with the same Snapdragon 870 chip, the price is even cheaper.
Or users can choose other smartphones of the same price range but are genuine, such as Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G or Redmi Note 11 Pro + 5G, which have slightly weaker performance than support 120W charging.
