In 2021, we have seen the explosion of NFT, so it is not surprising that big technology companies want to integrate NFT into their product lines and the latest name is Samsung. During the CES event, Samsung unveiled a new “NFT Aggregation Platform” (NFT Aggregation Platform), designed for its smart TVs.
The platform will be available on Samsung’s MicroLed, Neo QLED and The Frame models, allowing users to browse and purchase NFTs directly. The platform showcases NFTs from several marketplaces, so users can preview works and see other relevant details, like who created the work, as well as relevant blockchain metadata.
Those who already own NFT can also use the platform to showcase their collection. Samsung says that “Smart Calibration” technology can automatically adjust the TV’s settings to match the author’s original specifications to ensure the most realistic picture possible.
According to Samsung, details on the NFT Aggregation Platform will be made available in the next few weeks, when it starts shipping the 2022 TVs.
