The Google I/O 2022 event just took place last night, with a lot of exciting news about the search giant’s new products and devices. Below is a summary of the most notable products announced by Google during the event.

Google has launched its new mid-range smartphone, the Pixel 6A, which starts at $449 and can be pre-ordered from July 21. This year’s Pixel 6A is different from previous Pixel A models. , which is usually equipped by Google with the same camera as the high-end Pixel model, but with a weaker processor.

This year, Pixel 6A has the same design and Tensor processor as the Pixel 6. However, the main camera sensor is only 12MP, while the Pixel 6’s camera is 50MP. Another big difference is that the Pixel 6A has removed the traditional 3mm headphone jack.

Google has revealed the entire Pixel Watch smartwatch, not only the design but also the operating system and software. Google’s smartwatch will be installed with a new update of Wear OS 3 operating system and integrated with Fitbit’s health tracking feature.

However, Google has not revealed the processor chip that will be equipped inside the Pixel Watch, nor the price. The Pixel Watch is expected to be launched this fall alongside the Pixel 7.

Google has teased the new design of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Although the rear camera assembly is still quite similar to the Pixel 6, the design of the lens cutout is slightly different. Like Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will also be equipped with 2 and 3 rear cameras, respectively.

However, the colors of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will likely be different from their predecessors. According to Google’s teaser, Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have white backs and silver camera clusters. But this could also be just an introductory teaser and not the official colors.

Pixel Buds Pro with active noise cancellation like AirPods Pro

Google has launched the high-end Pixel Buds Pro headphones, which can be considered as another version of Apple AirPods Pro. Pixel Buds Pro is equipped with active noise cancellation and has an estimated battery life of 7 hours with ANC enabled.

Google says the Pixel Buds Pro is equipped with a custom audio processor and supports multi-point Bluetooth, which means it allows connecting to two devices at the same time. It is not clear how the Bluetooth multipoint feature will work in practice and what benefits it will have.

Pixel Buds Pro will be priced at 199 USD, in black, red and green colors. Pre-orders are available from July 21.

Google will launch a new tablet with Tensor chip
