Meta sold the game on the Oculus virtual reality headset in the US and Canadian markets on December 9, 2021, but has not yet sold it worldwide.
For the past few months, companies and individuals have been scrambling to shop for everything from artwork to virtual real estate on platforms like Decentraland and The Sanbox. Meta just opened the Horizon Creator $10 million fund last October. It is not clear how much Meta will be willing to pay creators on Horizon Worlds.
