Besides Honor X30, this manufacturer also introduced a smartphone in the low-cost segment called Honor Play 30 Plus. This is a device that costs less than 4 million, featuring a high-end design like the Huawei P50 and a huge 5000mAh battery.
The Huawei P50-like element on the Honor Play 30 Plus comes from the main camera cluster, which is designed in the form of 2 small circles placed in a large camera module. However, Honor Play 30 Plus is only equipped with two main cameras, including a 13MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth camera. In addition, the entire design is finished from plastic.
On the front, Honor Play 30 Plus has a 6.74-inch “waterdrop” screen, using an IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate but the resolution stops at HD +. The selfie camera placed in the middle has a resolution of 5MP.
Honor Play 30 Plus is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, a low-cost 5G chip from MediaTek. This is not exactly a powerful chip, but it does provide 5G support for low-cost models. It has 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. The included battery has a large capacity of 5000mAh, 22.5W fast charging.
Honor Play 30 Plus will be available in the Chinese market with 4 color options: black, blue, silver and gold with a starting price of only 1099 yuan, equivalent to 3.9 million. Currently, this device is only sold in China, so it will not support installing Google services.
