COLORFUL, a brand that provides motherboards, graphics cards, AIO gaming computers, has just announced CVN Guardian DDR5 memory. This is the latest RAM standard on the market today, exclusively for the upcoming 12th generation Intel Core CPUs and AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 7000 series.
With bus speeds much higher than DDR4 standard, which can reach bus up to 6000Mhz, CVN Guardian DDR5 is designed to work with COLORFUL CVN Series motherboards, including CVN B660M Gaming Frozen and CVN Z690 Gaming Forzen .
Designed with gamers and tech enthusiasts in mind, the COLORFUL CVN Guardian DDR5 features an eye-catching high-performance silver aluminum alloy heatsink. In addition, users can also customize and synchronize RGB using the iGame Center application, which can be downloaded from the company’s homepage.
At the same time, users can also use Intel XMP 3.0 for quick and easy memory overclocking. COLORFUL itself has also worked closely with other motherboard manufacturers for the best compatibility.
It is known that there will be 3 versions of CVN Guardian DDR5 released by COLORFUL, based on RAM bus speed. Accordingly, CVN Guardian DDR5 has capacities from 16GB and is sold in individual modules, including 16GB DDR5-4800MHz, 16GB DDR5-5600MHz, and 16GB DDR5-6000MHz versions. These products will be sold at MSRP (recommended retail price) from 169 USD, 239 USD and 279 USD respectively and are now available through distribution channels in certain regions.
Specifications of CVN Guardian DDR5
Compared to standard DDR4 RAM memory modules, the memory modules of DDR5 RAM have their own power management IC (PMIC), allowing them to run at lower voltages. With CVN Guardian DDR5 alone is no exception, this RAM memory has a low operating voltage level even at high frequencies. DDR5-4800MHz specs run at 1.1volt, 5600MHz at 1.25volt and 6000MHz at 1.35volt.
