In the video just posted, Capcom shows two things at the same time:
One, their game plays smoothly on the Steam Deck, a handheld PC made by Valve and about to go on sale early next year.
Second, Capcom optimizes the game very well, allowing a fast-paced game with many flashy visual effects to run smoothly on many platforms. DMC 5 runs smoothly on PCs as well as consoles, and in the latest example, it can be seen that a handheld game console powerful enough can “carry” this blockbuster game.
Besides, if you already own DMC 5 on your Steam account, you won’t need to buy the game again to play it on the Steam Deck.
Devil May Cry 5 runs smoothly on Steam Deck.
It is expected that the Steam Deck machines will reach players in February 2022.
