According to some previous leaked information, Apple is about to launch a new charger with a capacity of 35W. Called “Dual USB-C Port 35W Power Adapter”, the special feature of this charger is that it integrates up to two USB-C ports, making this the first Apple charger with a dual charging port design. .
Recently, the render image of this charger has been posted on Twitter ChargerLab upload. The image shows that the 35W charger will carry an almost similar design to previous Apple chargers, but with an additional USB-C port. The two USB-C ports are placed horizontally, instead of vertically like many other chargers. In addition, in some markets, Apple’s charger will also have a folding leg design.

It’s also important to note that Apple’s charger will have a total output of 35W for both ports, not 35W per port. So if a user charges two devices at the same time, the charging speed on each device will be affected. Before that, according to 9to5Macthe support document from Apple says this charger works at voltages of 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 15V/2.33A or 20V/1.75A.
Thus, with this charger, users can quickly charge two iPhones at about 15-20W at the same time, or a new iPhone like iPhone 13 Pro Max at about 27W and an Apple Watch or AirPods at about 27W. about 5W.
It is not clear how much Apple will set the price for this charger. However, with Apple’s single 20W charger already costing $19, it’s not surprising that this new 35W charger can cost twice as much.
