There are many reasons Orlando surpasses other cities in being on the forefront of these technologies. Commitments by state and local governments to pass legislation to make Florida the friendliest state in the nation for autonomous vehicle (AV) technology have gone a long way toward putting our area on the radar of companies developing these technologies. Orlando’s population growth, tourism industry, weather patterns and infrastructure make our region an ideal location to develop, test, and demonstrate automated vehicles.
