It’s been a home away from home and the doctors and staff have become family, but she’s very honest about what it’s like growing up in a hospital.”Sometimes I have fun here, but sometimes it’s really quite boring, too. And it’s quiet and I hear all the noise in the hospital, too, and I’m just trying to block it out and ignore everything,” said Stoll. She was born premature at 25 weeks old and has gone through over 100 surgeries. Due to lack of space and resources, things like surgeries being postponed are inevitable but tough for her.”I actually get more nervous because it just seems like (I) gear up for a week and then when it’s canceled, it’s like a letdown. I’m disappointed,” she said. But that problem is one of the issues that the new investment will fix. Cisco will be adding a top-of-the-line technology platform. It also hopes that it can enhance the patient and family experience.”It’s an amazing feeling to know that a facility that is already so equipped to handle tough cases like Hannah, they’re going to be even better equipped to handle tough cases like Hannah. They’re now going to be better equipped. That just blows my mind,” said Jennie Stoll, Hannah Stoll’s mother.”I really haven’t had any surgeries canceled lately. And I think that that will just get better and better in the future,” said Hannah Stoll.Cisco hopes to have the new expansion done by 2021.
