Detailed instructions for downloading and installing Visual Studio 2019 software
Visual Studio 2019 includes a collaboration service on source code called Microsoft Visual Studio Live Share by default. The new version also brings a new startup window to help users speed up programming operations, improve searchability and improve overall performance, better support for Visual Studio IntelliCode AI ( write intelligent code with artificial intelligence), support for the virtual Python language, support for .NET Core 3.0 projects (including WinForms and WPF), and many more.
1. Features of Visual Studio 2019
UI and UX are all improved subtly, like new icons, a cleaner green theme, and a more compact menu bar.
Quick Launch search bar: Provide a better experience where coders can search for everything (from code snippets, to settings, even to misspelled words)
Visual Studio IntelliCode : An extension that enhances your software development efforts using artificial intelligence (AI). IntelliCode train over 2,000 open source projects on GitHub, each with over 100 stars for generating recommendations.
Provide complete : Context-aware code
Developer Guide: Adhere to the patterns and styles of their team
Centralized code review: By drawing attention to the areas that really matter
Live Share: This feature is installed by default on Visual Studio 2019, allowing team members to do real-time manipulation, including sharing desktop applications, controlling source code changes and commenting code. This Live Code feature is quite useful in cases of pair programming, code reviews, lectures, presentations to students and colleagues, even team programming in hackathons.
Debugging performance improvement
Improvements to Snapshot Debugger : Aim at Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Virtual Machine Scale Sets (VMSS).
2. Versions of Visual Studio Code 2019

4. Visual Studio 2019 software installation guide
Step 1 : You download the software to your computer by following the link: https://bit.ly/39miNPx
Step 2 : After successfully downloading, double click on vs_enterprise to run the file
Step 3 : Wait for a while, the download process is complete, we will have the following screen:
Depending on your programming needs, we will choose different packages. According to Project experience, I see that most of us will implement the following popular projects (should tick) depending on hard drive capacity, RAM, and other configurations. If you are weak, don’t go to the wind, install a few necessary features in programming.
For example, in this case I often deploy projects on: Deskop application, Web Application, NodeJS, Mobile Application, then we need to tick the options as below:
In the above screen, I do projects related to Web asp net MVC, net core and NodeJS, so I will ticked the above 2 options.
Keep scrolling down to select (if you programmed it):
In the above screen, I have a Desktop application (Winform, WPF), I ticked it. Same for Universal Windows Platform development , Mobile (Xamarin) tick it.
Another important note is, don’t click install right here. Because there are a few features I see you often forget. at least 2 features: Show class model (class Diagram) and speed up programming with LINQ:
Remember to tick two more functions: Class Designer and LINQ to SQL Tools (see image above).
So up to this point, I need at least 18.41GB to fully install the features that I need. Therefore, you have to take care of the rice and fish sauce. Depending on the machine configuration as well as programming needs, choose the appropriate package. For example, if you never do mobile or universal programming, don’t tick them to help the computer system be less “dumb” unnecessarily.
Then we start pressing Install to install
At this moment Microsoft ask me to do the survey, you are too “busy” then click Not Now.
Then wait for the system to install:
Wait until it’s done (depending on machine speed)
Then we see it on the screen with the above message:
Visual Studio Enterprise 2019. Version 16.0.0 almost done
It will now have the screen below automatically appear
This screen is also not very important. But it has 3 meanings:
The first: If you are not interested then click “Not now, maybe later”
Second: If you don’t have a Microsoft account, click Create one!
Tuesday: If you already have one then click sign in.
Finally, please log in with your Microsoft account to complete the installation
Installing Visual Studio 2019 is also quite simple with just a few mouse clicks. Hope the article will help you a lot in the process of choosing software to write code! Thank you for following. Good luck!
