However, the rollout was suspended due to some bugs issues but now after solving the issues, the Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 5.0.3 which finally bringing Android 8.09 Oreo update with it.

This new update offers a new design for Quick Settings, critical bug fixes, a CPU security patch (CVE-2017-13218) and several improvements to 5T users. It also provides updated versions of Launcher to v2.2, Weather to v1.9, File Manager to v1.7.6, and Gallery apps to v2.0. The latest update comes with fixed system stability issues. The company said that it has also included an APK called Mkey, a front resource that was officially offered for India for local font compatibility needs. Users can even uninstall if they don’t need it.

Some existing 5T users reported navigation Keys-related issues with their 5T after receiving the OxygenOS 5.0.2 update, so the OxygenOS 5.0.3 update will carry fixed issues. However, the company has not revealed details about the matter.

OnePlus has been popular for releasing its Flagship’s new editions. The company always takes efforts to satisfy the OnePlus users by releasing these well-timed updates.  Other OnePlus smartphones including OnePlus 5/3T/3 had already received this Oreo update and finally, the OnePlus 5T is now receiving Android 8.0 Oreo.

For now, the OxygenOS 5.0.3 update is rolling out a small number of users and the huge roll-out will come soon.
