Say goodbye to the heat like a burning fire effectively with tips for using air conditioning fans
1. Place the fan in a well-ventilated location
The air conditioner fan is designed to draw air from many different directions (1 – 3 air intake sides) to reduce heat and push cool air to the outside environment. Therefore, when using an air conditioner fan, you should place the fan in a well-ventilated place, so that the fan can absorb the best amount of air for the cooling process. For the same reason, the cooling efficiency of the air conditioner fan may even decrease when you use it in a closed room.
On the other hand, the air conditioner fan uses water to lower the temperature but does not spray the steam out, so you can freely use it even in rooms that contain a lot of electronic devices without worrying about damage.
Note: Remember not to place objects that interfere with the fan’s intake and air circulation, otherwise it will reduce cooling efficiency and consume electricity.
Pouring too much water can cause spillage or leakage, increasing the risk of fire when the air conditioner fan is operating. However, letting the fan operate without water will also affect the durability of the pump in the fan and reduce the life of the fan. Remember to fill the tank about 1/2 full or more with water.
Note: Do not pour perfume or lotions into the container to create fragrance as this can clog the cooling pad, hoses/faucets or even clog the pump causing damage to the fan. If you want to scent the room, you can put the scented wax in front of the fan so that the fragrance follows the fan airflow to spread into the air in the room.
For fans with power less than 80 W: Sit about 2-3m away from the fan to catch the cool enough wind.
For fans with power over 80 W: Sit further away to ensure health safety, avoid colds, headaches, dizziness.
Every month you can clean the air conditioner fan yourself without the need for technicians. It is recommended to clean the dust barrier, cooling pad and water tank 1-2 times depending on whether the environment is dusty or not, so that they operate smoothly without dirt and increase durability.
In some cases, the air conditioner fan has an unpleasant smell, possibly because the newly purchased fan has the smell of glue that binds the links of the cooling pad, which will disappear after the first use. If the smell is not gone for a long time, it may be because the cooling pad of the fan has not been dried, you can turn off the cooling mode (cool mode) for about 30 minutes, the fan will dry the cooling pad and the unpleasant smell will disappear. lost.
If the air humidity is too low, you should increase the humidity manually by cleaning the house to keep it cool, leaving a basin of water or a damp cloth in the room to create air humidity. For outdoor spaces, you can spray water or wipe the yard/floor wet to increase humidity.
When starting the fan, you should choose the cool mode: Put cold water in the water tank, add dry ice or ice cubes, wait for 15 minutes, the room temperature will decrease and increase the best cooling effect.
After directly receiving the wind for about 15-20 minutes, choose the rotation mode for the fan to cool evenly and open the whole room.
Besides manual humidification, it is recommended to combine using Humidity Control mode to control humidity and ion generation function (if available) to clean the air.
