1.1. Sum and product of two natural numbers
Repeat:
The addition of any two natural numbers gives a unique natural number called their sum

Multiplying any two natural numbers gives a unique natural number called its product

In a product where the factors are all literals or only one is numerical, we may not need to write the multiplication sign between the factors.

c) Distributive property of multiplication over addition:
To multiply a number by a sum, we can multiply the number by each term of the sum, and then add the results.

Put 15 out:
We have : \(15 . 32 + 15 . 16 = 15. ( 34 + 16 ) = 15 . 50 = 750\)

Apply the associative property:
We have : \(74 + 350 + 26 = ( 74 + 26) + 350 = 100 + 350 = 450\)
